Over the weekend of November 17-18, 2024, a regular seminar for relicensing professional mountain leaders (International Mountain Leaders operating under the international UIMLA Standard) took place at the Victorian Heights Hotel on Popova Shapka.

During the Annual meeting of the UIMLA General Assembly in 2021 it was decided that as of 1-1-2023 (Japan: 1-4-2023) every UIMLA IML should have the new UIMLA carnet: all 22 Full Members of UIMLA worldwide will be using this new design.

This year's first seminar aimed at renewing the UIMLA credentials of MAIVP members will be held on March 4 and 5, 2023 in the village of Zhirovnica in NP Mavrovo.
The accommodation will be in the mountain lodge Govedarica, where the theoretical contents of the training will be performed.

On June 19, 2019, at the Porta Hotel, starting at 8:30 p.m., a small ceremony will be held during which the first mountain guides from Macedonia who acquired an international license according to the professional standard of UIMLA will be promoted.
